Sustainability at AeroLogic – Responsibility in Air Freight

Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate strategy. Since our founding, we have pursued the goal of operating as a reliable and responsible air freight company. Together with our shareholders Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express, as well as our customers, we work to assume and continuously strengthen our ecological and social responsibility throughout the entire value chain.

Why We Take Action

Air freight is a resource-intensive and globally connected business. We are aware of the responsibility that comes with our impact on the environment and society. Our goal is to reduce the ecological footprint of our operations through targeted measures, contribute to a more sustainable development of the industry, and take responsibility for future generations.

Our measures

Our Fleet

Our Boeing 777 cargo aircraft can transport over 100 metric tons of cargo on routes of more than 9,000 kilometers and, according to the manufacturer, consume at least 31% less fuel per metric ton of cargo transported compared to older aircraft models such as the 747-400 F.*

The 777 F meets current environmental and noise protection standards and, according to the manufacturer, is among the most efficient and quietest cargo aircraft in its class.

ESG Reporting

We regularly record and document our performance in the areas of Environment, Social Responsibility, and Governance (ESG). This ensures transparency regarding our progress, key figures, and objectives – providing the foundation for responsible corporate development.

Contribution to Global Sustainability Goals

We align ourselves with the internationally agreed climate goals and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through the gradual reduction of emissions within our sphere of influence, the efficient use of resources, and responsible corporate governance, we contribute to the further development of more sustainable air freight.
