Personal data
Personal data are data about you as an individual. They include your name, address, and email address. You do not need to disclose any personal data in order to visit our website. In some cases, we need your name and address as well as further information in order to offer you the desired service.
The same applies if we supply you with information material at your request or when we respond to your enquiries. As the occasion arises, we will always bring this to your attention. Furthermore, we only retain the data that you automatically or voluntarily transmitted to us.
When you use one of our services, we generally only collect the data that are necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for further information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to offer you our services or to pursue our commercial objectives.
Establishment of contact
When you contact us (e.g. via the contact form, email, telephone or social media), the information provided by the person making the enquiry is processed to the extent necessary to respond to the enquiry and any requested action.

- Data subjects:
- Purposes of the processing: Requests for contact and communication.
- Legal bases: Fulfilment of contractual and pre-contractual requests (article 6 paragraph 1 under b of the GDPR), legitimate interests (article 6 paragraph 1 under f of the GDPR).
Automatically stored data
Server log data
The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in ‘server log files’. This includes:
- Date and time of the request
- Name of the requested file
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- The web browser and operating system used
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Transferred data volume
These data are not combined with data from other sources. The processing is carried out in accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 under f of the GDPR, on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
We store these data for a short period for technical security reasons, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server. It is not possible for us to draw any conclusions about individual persons on the basis of these data. After seven days at the latest, the data are anonymised by shortening the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a reference to the individual user. The data are also processed in anonymised form for statistical purposes; they are not compared with other data sets or passed on to third parties, neither in whole nor in part. The only information we disclose is the number of page views in our server statistics, which we publish every two years in our activity report.

Google Analytics 4
Our website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as: “Google“). In this context, pseudonymous user profiles are created and cookies are used.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (e.g. IP address of the accessing computer, time of access, referrer URL, and information about the browser and operating system used) is usually transmitted to and processed by Google on servers in the United States. We use Google Analytics with your consent (article 6 paragraph 1 under 1 under a of the GDPR in conjunction with § 25 Subsection 1 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG)) for the analysis and optimisation of our online services and the commercial operation of this website. Google therefore processes the information on our behalf in order to analyse the use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide us with further services associated with the use of the website and the internet for the purposes of market research and the needs-based design of these web pages.
We concluded into a data processing agreement with Google for the use of Google Analytics. Under this agreement, Google ensures that it processes the data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and guarantees the protection of the rights of the data subject. The IP address processed by Google Analytics is automatically shortened. The last three digits of your IP address will be replaced by a “0”, which prevents an allocation. If necessary, the recorded data are transferred to third parties if this is legally required or if third parties process the data as contracted. The user data collected via cookies are automatically erased after 14 months.
The information generated by the cookies about your use of our website (e.g. IP address of the accessing computer, time of access, referrer URL, and information about the browser and operating system used) are transmitted to servers of Google in the USA and are processed there. Google relies on the Transatlantic Data Privacy Framework of 10 July 2023 (TADPF) for the transfer of data to recipients based in the United States and, in the case of a data transfer to other third countries, on standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission as a guarantee of a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU. You can obtain a copy of the standard contractual clauses here. We only transfer data to Google on the basis of your consent.
You can revoke or adjust your consent at any time with effect for the future. Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Google Analytics Help section. Information on the use of data by Google can be found in their Data Protection Statement.
